In addition to offering teen church-school classes on Sunday morning, Grace-St. Paul’s has a Youth Group which is peopled by an active, diverse group of teens who gather together regularly to grow in spirituality and community.
Members of the Youth Group engage in community service opportunities, such as volunteering at the Crisis Ministry in Trenton and participating in the Sierra Club’s Earth Day Hike and Cleanup at Mercer County Park. They also enjoy a bit of fun and fellowship in an annual bowling outing, mini golf, and other trips and activities throughout the year. As faithful stewards-in-training, they also volunteer their time and talents by helping with the church’s fundraising events, clean-up days, and renovation projects. The Youth Group also is involved in Diocesan and regional activities.
Active members of the Youth Group range from fifth through twelfth grades. Participation is not restricted to parish members only; friends and neighbors are always welcome to join the group or share in its activities. Adult leadership provides structure and guidance for the group which meets to plan and then to accomplish the service activities.
