“So come to this table -You who have much faith
And you who would like to have more.
You who have been to this Sacrament often,
And you who have not been for a long time.
You who have followed Jesus.
And you who fear you have failed.
Come-It is Christ who invites you to meet him here.
Wherever you are in your journey of faith,
You are welcome at the Lord’s table.”
Grace-St. Paul’s has a group of parishioners who are licensed as Eucharistic Visitors, whose mission is to take the Eucharist to those in the church community who may be shut in or ill. As a team, the Eucharistic Visitors visit those who have requested regular contact and Eucharist. Visits are rotated, allowing for more connective ties with more people. Sometimes the visit includes the Eucharist, other times the package is solely the gift of presence.
All visits are confidential within the group, and any areas of concern are shared with either the Priest-in-Charge or Wardens for further follow-up. Visits are a half hour to an hour in length, and may be done solo or in tandem with another Eucharistic Visitor team member.
Those who would like to arrange visits should contact the Grace-St. Paul’s Parish Office at (609) 586-6004 or email@example.com
Anyone who would like to be part of this ministry, contact Mother Cornell at firstname.lastname@example.org
