In the coming weeks our congregation will be involved in an exciting stewardship program entitled “Bearing Fruit for Jesus!: His Grace and Power at Work within You.” Jesus said, “I am the Vine; you are the branches. If a person remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit” (John 15:5). When we abide in Jesus, it follows naturally that we bear fruit. Fruit characterizes the life of a Christian. During this program, our goal will be to grow in our understanding of how we bear fruit for Jesus.
You are invited to join in this program as we grow as stewards of all that God gives us. The sermon messages and Bible studies will offer these weekly themes:
- October 11th Fruitful Use of Time
- October 18th Fruitful Use of Talents
- October 25th Fruitful Use of Money
- November 1st Harvest Sunday
God prepares and equips us so we can use all of our gifts to God’s glory. God’s deeds of fruit are seen in and through us as we use the gifts that he has given to us, giving reasons for others to praise the Father in heaven (Matthew 5:16).
The Adult Forum sessions during this program will be focused on opening up God’s Word so we can better understand what it means to bear fruit for Jesus. These are held at 9:00 am each Sunday.

May we all grow stronger in our commitment to serve God as we continue to experience all the blessings God entrusts to us.
The Stewardship Ministry Team invites you to join us in prayerful consideration of what God expects of us as Christians in terms of the fruitful use of our time, talents and treasure in His service. We will be using the 21 daily meditations in the “Bearing Fruit for Jesus!” Devotional Booklet as a tool in this effort, starting with the first meditation on Sunday, October 11th. Booklets will be given out in church on October 11th, or you can download a copy Devotional Booklet.
On Sundays, October 11th, 18th and 25th, we will be giving out pamphlets in the service bulletins that provide additional readings focused on the fruitful use of our Time, Talents and Treasure. We will add links to each pamphlet below during the week following.
